It was an honor to design this promotional poster for the "Applebee's, You and Tyler Too" fundraising event. Beyond the fact that Applebee's partnered with a famous Food Network star, the theme allowed us to try something a bit "out of the bag" with our canned food graphics.

Using a circus theme to promote enthusiasm, and pay off the promotion's title, this layout provided a fun way to say all you can eat without positioning Applebee's as a destination for "buffet professionals".

This campaign reinforced Applebee's "neighborhood values" by encouraging diners to spend less time cooking, and more time with their families. We produced collateral for many purposes - all united by a consistent look and feel.

The logo and animation above were part of an introduction to a promotional CD-ROM we produced to raise awareness for Applebee's local school partnerships.

Comments

Asked by Applebee's corporate office to help with promotions for one of the chain's largest franchisees, we served up an assortment of fun, "hip" materials that hit the spot with target audiences. For "Education Collaboration", our design team earned an "A" grade from the client, while the Food Network's Tyler Florence personally confirmed that our contributions to his "Applebee's, You and Tyler Too" fund-raising event (including coining the name) really hit the spot.
